Hoist of the Eco-Schools Green Flag, at S. Jorge Middle School – Cardeal D. Teodósio de Gouveia
On 7th november 2016, at 12h45m, took place at our school, the ceremony to hoist the Eco- Schools Green Flag.
This event had the collaboration of almost whole school community. To start this celebration some students recited poems about the environment.
For the sixth consecutive year, our school is awarded for its efforts into having a healthier environment, and into educating citizens with a civic and sustainable environmental awareness.
We thank the presence and collaboration of the incharge of the school, and in particular, the students, teachers, staff and parents.
Environmental values will continue to be promoted through joint efforts.
Many thanks to all those who were committed to this project and now it urges to continue working towards a Better Environment!…
